Two Year Workmanship

Langlois Home Improvement (hereinafter referred to as "the Contractor") provides a two-year workmanship warranty on all installations conducted using new materials. This warranty covers construction, assembly, and installation processes performed by the Contractor, ensuring freedom from defects in workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of project completion.

Covered defects include those arising directly from faulty workmanship during the installation process. However, this warranty does not extend to damages resulting from normal wear and tear, misuse, neglect, acts of nature, or any modifications made by parties other than the Contractor. In the event of a covered defect, the Contractor reserves the right to repair or replace the defective materials, or reimburse the customer for the cost of repair or replacement, up to the original contract value.

The liability of the Contractor under this warranty is limited to the original contract value and does not cover any consequential damages. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the installation services. To initiate a warranty claim, the customer must notify the Contractor in writing within thirty (30) days of discovering the defect. Disputes arising under this warranty shall be resolved through negotiation, mediation, and if necessary, binding arbitration in accordance with applicable laws. This warranty is subject to all state or local regulations governing warranties and consumer protection laws.

Post Saver Warranty

Post Saver guarantees your post against rot and decay for 20 years, and will reimburse the customer for the market cost of a replacement post in the event the product fails. To see the full guarantee, you can read it here.

Stain Warranty

Expert Wood Care guarantees their oil-based stain to stand up to high foot traffic. Semi-solid stain is guaranteed for three years, semi-transparent stain for two years, and transparent stain for one year. To see the guarantee and learn more about our stain, you can read it here.

Fixes/Repair

We are unable to provide a warranty on fixes and repairs performed using existing materials. As our repairs utilize existing resources, we cannot guarantee the longevity or performance of the repaired item beyond its current state. While we strive to deliver high-quality craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail, the nature of utilizing pre-existing materials limits our ability to offer a warranty. We remain committed to providing exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction in all aspects of our work.
